BALTIMORE, MD – Kelly & Associates Insurance Group (KELLY) was announced as the Top Corporate Team for the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland’s Greater Baltimore Kidney Walk on Sunday, April 30th, raising over $22,500 collectively through a multitude of fundraising activities.
The National Kidney Foundation of Maryland is a non-profit organization dedicated to easing the impact of kidney and urinary tract diseases by helping improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increasing the availability of all organs for transplantation. Since their establishment in 1955, the NKF-MD has become the largest, most comprehensive and longstanding organization dedicated to the awareness, prevention and treatment of kidney disease.
Chief Technology Officer, Rasoul Motavalli who sits on the Board of Directors for the NKF-MD led the charge for this year’s fundraising with his IT Team raising more than $13,000 of the overall $22,500. The total funds raised by the team will provide free community kidney health risk assessments for over 800 people, assist over 100 people with their monthly rent or mortgages, pay for one month of transportation to dialysis for over 400 people, and much more!
